Charlestown

Located in the popular area of Charlestown, just 4 miles from Manchester city centre, our nursery provides great facilities for children to learn, play and socialise all under the supervision of our highly trained staff. 

We have two large, light and airy rooms with spacious outdoor play areas for all age groups.  There is a private bike track, fixed climbing equipment and a fantastic story telling area where the children sit on mushroom seats.  Regular organised trips to nearby Boggart Hole Clough allow the children to enjoy walking, playing and exploring wildlife and nature with a picnic always included. The Brighter Beginnings fully qualified teacher makes regular visits to the nursery to assist the children in general learning activities.

The nursery garden area where flowers, herbs, bulbs and vegetables are grown is a great place for children to participate in and watch the growth of the various things that are planted there. Food using only fresh ingredients is provided for the children and cooked by a professional team as we believe that healthy eating is essential to their growth and development.

We also have a Breakfast Club, After School and Holiday Club taking the children on regular trips to the many places of interest in the area. 

Charlestown has a strong sense of community spirit and is one of the few suburbs of Manchester where there are so many green spaces to enjoy.  There are also no less than three schools to choose from when considering your child’s future education.

Cherry has had a great year at Brighter Beginnings. She settled in really well thanks to all the staff who took their time and effort to make her feel welcome. The graduation day was fantastic the costumes were excellent and all the children had a great time.
