Newton Heath

Our nursery is based inside a busy SureStart Centre In the heart of Newton Heath area and we are less than 3 miles from Manchester city centre. The town provides excellent transport links.

All three of our light, airy rooms have direct access to the private outdoor play area where there is also a dedicated bike track for exclusive use of the children. Organised trips to Clayton Vale are conducted weekly for forest school activities supervised by our friendly staff.

Nursery staff carry out weekly physical exercise sessions called "Jabadayo" , dancing and swimming are also conducted by specialist teachers every week. There is also a sensory room with controllable sources of light so that the children can gain heightened sensation through experiencing the different colours and patterns of light. The Brighter Beginnings fully trained teacher visits all nurseries regularly assisting the children in general learning activities.

We are fortunate to have lawns and gardens with several growing areas where flowers, herbs, bulbs and vegetables are grown so that the children are able to participate in and watch the growth of the various things that are planted there. Food using only fresh ingredients is provided for the children and cooked by a professional team as we believe that healthy eating is essential to their growth and development.

Newton Heath has a wide variety of shops and supermarkets for any last minute shopping a busy parent may have to do.
