What Is OUR Baby House?
Baby House is a brand-new specialist baby provision at Brighter Beginnings New Moston, designed exclusively for babies from birth to 28 months.
Unlike a standard nursery where babies share space with toddlers and older children, Baby House is entirely dedicated to the youngest children in our care.
With smaller group sizes, carefully trained staff, and rooms designed around the developmental needs of babies at every stage, this is childcare in Manchester that puts your baby’s wellbeing, attachment, and individual routine at the very heart of everything we do.
Every baby has their own key person, their own routine and their own pace. Our home-from-home environment is calm, cosy and designed to feel familiar from day one. Families have the reassurance of CCTV throughout, and every child who grows beyond 28 months is guaranteed a place in one of our eight nursery settings across Manchester and Oldham, so their journey with Brighter Beginnings continues seamlessly.

Baby House cares for babies from birth up to 28 months. Our youngest room, The Nest, is designed for babies aged 0-16 months, so you can join us from the very beginning of your baby’s life outside the home.
Baby House opens in September 2026. We’re currently taking registrations of interest, and we’d encourage you to get in touch as early as possible, as spaces will be limited.
Yes. Baby House is a specialist provision within Brighter Beginnings New Moston. Brighter Beginnings is a well-established early years provider in the area, and Baby House builds on that strong foundation of warm, high-quality childcare.
The government’s funded childcare entitlement currently includes 15 hours per week for eligible working families from the term after their baby turns 9 months. Eligibility is subject to government criteria. Baby House will be registered to accept funded hours where applicable.
Our settling-in process is gentle and child-led. Before your baby starts, we’ll invite you to visit, share your baby’s routine with us, and begin building a relationship with your key person. We’ll never rush settling-in , your baby’s emotional security comes first.
All Baby House staff are trained in safer sleep guidance, bottle feeding and preparation, weaning, baby care, safeguarding, and food hygiene. They also hold recognised early years qualifications and receive ongoing professional development.
We believe in outdoor play all year round. Baby House offers sensory outdoor areas, a mud kitchen, gentle climbing structures, and cosy covered spaces so babies can experience the outdoors safely and comfortably whatever the weather.
Absolutely. Safer sleep is a priority at Baby House. All staff are trained in current safer sleep guidance, and our sleep environments are designed in line with the latest recommendations from The Lullaby Trust.
