Government Funded Childcare Hours

We offer government funded childcare places in line with current UK childcare funding guidance.

  • 15 hours per week or 30 hours per week
  • Available as term time only, 38 weeks per year
  • Or as a stretched offer across the year, subject to availability

Funded hours do not have a monetary value. When funded hours are accessed, your invoice will clearly show these hours at a cost of £0, alongside the number of funded hours used.

Term time funded offer
  • 15 or 30 funded hours per week
  • Delivered across 38 weeks of the year
Stretched funded offer
  • Funded hours are spread across more weeks of the year
  • For example, over 51 weeks
  • The weekly number of funded hours is adjusted accordingly

Your nursery manager will confirm the exact stretched offer available at your chosen setting.

Enhanced Curriculum Provision

We offer an enhanced curriculum provision that provides children with enriched learning experiences beyond the core Early Years Foundation Stage framework.

This is a voluntary daily charge and is only applied when a child is accessing government funded hours, as these additional experiences are not covered by funding.

What the enhanced curriculum provision includes

This provision supports a wide range of experiences, including but not limited to:

  • Educational trips and outings such as farms, museums, libraries, parks, sensory rooms, community spaces, and cultural visits
  • Special visitors and guest educators including animal encounters, theatre experiences, musical storytelling, yoga, PE sessions, and baby movement classes
  • Forest School and outdoor learning activities including mud kitchens, den building, nature exploration, campfire cooking, and gardening
  • Live nature experiences such as observing duck eggs hatching and butterfly life cycles
  • Creative and enrichment resources including specialist craft materials, sensory equipment, and hands on learning tools
  • Cultural and festival celebrations including Eid, Diwali, Ramadan, Chinese New Year, Holi, Hanukkah, Easter, and Christmas
  • Parent engagement activities such as Stay and Play sessions, breakfast mornings, and afternoon teas
  • Prizes and resources for learning challenges and child achievements

These experiences support children’s curiosity, confidence, creativity, resilience, and problem solving skills.

Daily enhanced curriculum charges
  • 30 funded hours: £1.76 per day
  • 15 funded hours: £0.88 per day

Charges are calculated daily and may vary depending on your child’s attendance. Fees are invoiced monthly.

We want all children to be included in these enriched learning experiences. If you do not wish to contribute to the enhanced curriculum provision, please speak to your nursery manager so next steps can be discussed.
