Job Description: We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners to join our team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and care. The expansion of funding has enabled us to open these positions, ideal for those qualified at Level 2 or Level 3, with a preference for candidates holding a first aid qualification (training provided on-site if needed).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education for children in accordance with the EYFS.
- Plan and carry out engaging activities that promote children’s learning and development.
- Observe, assess, and record each child’s progress.
- Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on children’s progress.
- Work collaboratively with the nursery team to maintain a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in training and development opportunities.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
- Experience working in a childcare setting is desirable.
- First Aid qualification is advantageous (training provided if necessary).
- Understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to providing high-quality childcare and education.
