🕒 Hours: Monday to Thursday 2:30pm – 5:30pm | Friday 2:00pm – 5:30pm

Are you enthusiastic, fun, and passionate about working with children? We’re looking for a Playworker to join our friendly team at Brighter Beginnings to support our busy After-School Club.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work part-time in a rewarding childcare role. No formal qualifications are required – just a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in supporting children’s play and wellbeing.
🌟 What You’ll Do
Supervise and engage children aged 4–11 during after-school club sessions.
Organise fun, creative, and active play opportunities both indoors and outdoors.
Support with snack times and promote social interaction.
Ensure the environment is safe, welcoming, and inclusive.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and the team.
Promote positive behaviour and child wellbeing.
✅ What We’re Looking For
A friendly, energetic, and responsible individual.
A genuine interest in working with children.
Reliability and a strong sense of commitment.
Willingness to undertake a Playwork Apprenticeship (if desired).
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one – we can support this).
Ability to work across sites if needed (travel costs reimbursed if applicable).
